Job Details

The Indirect Strategy & Programs team is chartered with the executive mandate to scale the indirect channel at Salesforce to achieve ambitious growth targets on our path to $50 billion in revenue. This person will play a key role in operating and improving the Salesforce Cloud Reseller Program as part of the broader Salesforce Partner Program .

As an Analyst, you’ll assist with data requests and drive data analysis for key initiatives supporting our global channel sales strategy, and specifically the Cloud Reseller Program. In this role you will be responsible for understanding requests for data from the team and our business stakeholders, identifying the data sources required, gathering data and performing required analyses, and developing necessary artifacts (documents, presentations, reports and dashboards) to frame decisions to executives, and operate the Cloud Reseller Program.

We work in an environment with complex business issues that are not always clearly defined; the path to a solution often involves additional data, infrastructural challenges, and competing priorities. The right candidate will possess creative problem-solving skills, be a self-starter, action-oriented and comfortable navigating new waters. Simultaneously, this individual will require excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively align with matrixed business partners who have limited familiarity with data, technology, and indirect channels.

Responsibilities

  • Track incoming data requests for business analysis from the Indirect Strategy & Programs team and business partners
  • Perform business analysis to develop insights from data
  • Prepare presentations and other artifacts summarizing findings from data and framing decisions and recommendations for executive audiences
  • Build and regularly maintain reports and dashboards summarizing partner performance against key performance indicators
  • Perform analysis and modeling exercises to support program design changes

Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years focused on quantitative analysis and logical reasoning
  • Experience using databases for analysis – Tableau, Alation, SQL, and/or Python
  • Functional experience in go-to-market strategy and/or familiarity with channel sales or partner programs a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and transition complex problems to solutions
  • Strong presentation skills, especially related to building compelling and influential presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Valuable work experience focused on scaling operations and/or logical reasoning
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Self-starter motivated to go above and beyond the task at hand and succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
