eBay’s Buyer Growth team is looking for a Recent Graduate Engineer for our soon to be opened ATLANTA, GEORGIA office to work on key parts of ebay like the Home page, My eBay, Global header and Growth experiences. You’ll be working with a world class team of engineers, designers, product managers, and analysts to create great products that make a difference on one of the world’s most trafficked and loved websites. Our technology stack includes Node.js front end app and Java/Scala based back-end.

The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing both strong backend development experience and good front end engineering skills with an interest in growing into a Full Stack Developer. We are a team that likes to move fast and iterate faster as we deliver the future of e-commerce. We only want to work with the best, and we’d love for you to join us.

You are:

  • Analytical. Able to convert abstract concepts into viable products using CS fundamentals
  • Resourceful. Have the ability to do a lot with a little. Be able to aggregate information from various places and build relationships with key partners to get the information you need
  • Data Driven. Able to use data to frame out and solve problems

We need:

  • Programming expertise. Be proficient at object oriented programming concepts and fundamentals, design patterns, a true SDLC technical connoisseur. Be comfortable with algorithms and data structures, such as dynamic array, linked list, stack, queue, binary search, binary search tree, hash map, depth first search, breadth first search, and merge sort.
  • A go-getter. Seek new opportunities, don’t shy away from challenges, and bring energy and enthusiasm to the office every day.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be graduating (May/June/July 2021) from a US full-time, degree-seeking program and obtained a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field with 0-3 years of work experience, not including internships
  • Key Technical skills/experience: Strong CSfundamental experience with an Object Oriented programming language (Java/Scala/Python). Strong fundamental experience with Front End/UI language/tools/Frameworks (JavaScript/ES6/React/Node.JS/HTML/CSS).
  • Strong applied experience. You’ve built, broken, and rebuilt software applications. Ability to write reusable and maintainable code
  • A constant desire to improve and learn
  • Creative thinker who knows how to create real-world products
  • Key skills: Strong fundamental experience with an Object Oriented programming language (Java/Scala/Python). Strong fundamental experience with Front End/UI language/tools/Frameworks (JavaScript/ES6/React/Node.JS/HTML/CSS).
