The Scientist will be part of a team of imaging scientists dedicated and engaged in the characterization and development of novel PET tracers and methodologies for deploying them to inform drug development programs. The successful candidate will also contribute to more traditional molecular imaging biomarker identification and assay development across the portfolio. The Scientist will be responsible for the entirety of the preclinical imaging experiment (study design, data acquisition, analysis, and interpretation). They will collaborate with chemists, biologists, clinicians, and other scientists across therapeutic areas.

Qualifications & Attributes:

  • A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or related field is required with relevant academic/industry experience.
  • A minimum of a BS degree with 6+ years of experience, MS degree with 3-4 years of experience or PhD with 1-2 years of experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of imaging applications to preclinical imaging is required, in particular tracer development
  • Multi-modality (especially MR) and brain imaging are desirable
  • Sound knowledge in chemistry and biology for developing successful imaging studies and analysis for drug discovery programs is preferable
  • Proven track record of hands-on experience (animal imaging and PET data acquisition and analysis) in either academic or pharmaceutical industry setting
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and good communication skills
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment
