Assist Hotel Manager in daily oversight of the Reservations department. Processes and monitors group block reservations and follows up with Sales department as appropriate. Trains, supervises, schedules and assists in evaluating staff.

What will I be doing?

  • Processes all group blocks from the sales department. Effectively enters all group blocks into reservation computer system. Sets inventory controls or host blocks for each group. Follows up with the sales department regarding all questions that stem from groups. Monitors group blocks after they have been entered into computer system.
  • Answers calls, returns e-mails and voicemails. Assists guest in booking reservations, by providing superior property knowledge.
  • Researches and updates all reservations staff on Hilton enhancements and problems. Maintains and updates the reservations computer system
  • Reviews group pick up, assist in ensuring proper availability. Manages group billing needs and assists finance if any questions arise during invoice processing.
  • Completes all training functions on new reservation agents, which last two weeks per new agent. Follows and monitors the performance and progress of all new agents. Completes a “30” day review of all new reservations agents.
