We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Associate Content Strategist to join the Commercial Content Strategy and Development Team as part of the Center of Excellence organization.

The Associate Content Strategist will be responsible for developing and managing Request for Proposal (RFP) content and content-related project management processes. This individual will partner with teams across Salesforce to provide ongoing support for the expansion and addition of content, both within the distinct RFP content libraries and within supplemental supporting assets and templates. Specifically, this person will work with the Content Strategist Manager to ensure RFP library content and tools are best-in-class. This will enable RFP team members and other internal stakeholders to accurately present our unique product capabilities in a way that is consistent with our messaging, positioning, and brand guidelines. In this role, you will gain knowledge of and exposure to company products across platforms while working in a supportive team environment with members inside and outside of the United States.

This is a multi-faceted position critical to overall business segment and industry success. Candidates must be detail-oriented, passionate about content, successful project managers, and problem solvers who are equally skilled at effective communication and harness a creative understanding of RFP and content management processes. You should be able to interpret proposal requirements and our corporate messaging to identify and prioritize RFP content project initiatives.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Review and update RFP content against corporate and team writing style guidelines.
  • Work to deploy timely content updates based on corporate milestones, including product releases, product name changes, rebranding, and changes to product positioning.
  • Support content maintenance tasks, including metadata changes, asset organization, usage audits, and removal of duplicate content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and various stakeholders across the organization to develop and manage appropriate content for RFPs.
  • Support content tools and processes that enable both full-service and self-service proposal management scenarios.
  • Assist with data review to identify trends in the market and prioritize initiatives with the Content Strategist, Lead.
  • Participate in RFP team projects involving content initiatives.
  • Collaborate and execute on content improvements identified by proposal strategists and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other team members to set priorities and deadlines on content-related projects and initiatives.
  • Communicate content updates to relevant stakeholders when content is deployed.
  • Support update processes for RFP content and assets that are available through internal tools and apps used by stakeholders.
  • Follow design and branding guidelines as part of content updates and creation of new assets.
  • Provide ad hoc content and design support to proposal strategists during the proposal management process.

Basic Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • At least one to three years of relevant experience in project management, copywriting or copyediting, marketing, or proposal/technical writing
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, including time/project management and change management experience
