Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. The Patient Access & Reimbursement Manager is part of the Pharmacy Benefit team and reports to Sr. Manager, Patient Access & Reimbursement
This role is responsible for strategy development and support and for managing and advancing Amgen PSP capabilities, assessing vendors & solutions, managing budgets, and driving overall prioritization.
Responsibilities for this role will include the following:
- Develop and support patient access strategies for short and long-term solutions, including defining goals and priorities and measuring and tracking success (e.g., budget activities, integration & transformation support, program governance)
- Provide project management support to specific prioritized activities across the team, partnering with channel and capability leads to drive and measure success
- Own, build and maintain positive relationships with partners; driving alignment and providing ongoing collaboration to inform how best to address business needs
- Effectively resolve issues, drive decisions, and appropriately and quickly raise issues
- Work cross-functionally with other business units, as well as with internal partners to ensure maintenance of Amgen legal, regulatory, and compliance standards

Master’s degree and 2 years of patient access and reimbursement experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of patient access and reimbursement experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 10 years of patient access and reimbursement experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of patient access and reimbursement experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically to support key business decisions
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of audiences
- Excellent facilitation, influencing, problem-solving and change management skills
- Advanced analytical skills—ability to translate disparate and sometimes ambiguous data sets into meaningful insights and recommendations
- Fluency in project management methodology, best practices and tools
- Experience leading or being a part of a cross-functional project team
- Experience working with key internal or external partners, establishing, communicating and leading teams to drive timelines and achieve project targets
- Experience critically evaluating process and establishing creative solutions
