Job Description
This position trains and supervises Security and Emergency Medical Technician staff and assigns duties as required for accomplishing the completion of projects. Working in conjunction with the site manager, this role administers the client’s security and support EMT functions.
- Execute and monitor project security policies and procedures to safeguard property, plant, equipment, security information, intellectual property, and personnel
- Assist with investigations
- Provide clear direction and effective communications
- Provide supervision of effective access controls and provide physical security as required
- Provide security support for office and/or project work environment
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (2) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work-related experience or (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and 4 years of work related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non-degreed
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent plus seven (7) years Security experience
- Prior military and/or contingency operations experience preferred
- Knowledgeable of current security vulnerabilities and threats
- Current KY EMT-B certification
- Knowledgeable of firefighting and firefighting requirements a plus
- Knowledgeable of Department of Homeland Security requirements
- Ability to be granted, or have Government Security Clearance
