The Marine Corps Systems (MCS) department is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. This position will provide support to the Vice President, Marine Corps Systems, as well as multiple Directors on the MCS program, and the management team. The qualified individual will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Confidentiality and professionalism are a must. Must be a team player and have the ability to handle sensitive information discretely as well as maintain composure in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: general correspondence, phone duties, scheduling appointments, travel arrangements and expense reports, answering internal and external customer inquiries and special duties as required. The selected individual will be required to perform complex and diversified administrative functions that require independent decision making and problem solving with minimal direction.

Supporting customer relations and interfacing including customer visits and meetings, setup of meetings (including refreshment as necessary), and coordination of visit requests with Lockheed Martin Security. Manage conference room (including reservations, Skype, Video Teleconferencing (VTC), Zoom, other IT as necessary).

Provide support for business operations including: coordinate, compile and prepare internal business reviews, documentation and reports; compile and edit weekly and monthly status reports and items of interests. Knowledge of standard office equipment and technology for both operation and basic trouble shooting. (Phone, iPhone, computer, laptop, photocopy, pdf, etc). Coordinate parking spaces with Facilities.

Order/Maintain Office supply Inventory, organize shipping, mail and deliveries as well as general upkeep and maintenance coordination of work area (Kitchenette and supply closet).

Self-starter with strong initiative, proven ability to multi-task and drive closure in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and short/firm deadlines that align to company deliverables.
Basic Qualifications:
1. Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and working knowledge of SharePoint.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills/ability to interact with all levels of management, peers, government, and other industry personnel in a proficient, courteous, discrete, and professional manner.
3. Well organized with flexibility and ability to effectively balance the handling of multiple assignments and tasks.
4. Successful candidate must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic and fast-moving team environment.
5. Determines priorities of non-routine situations and will participate and lead miscellaneous projects or initiatives as needed, including providing support to the department staff.
6. Candidate must have willingness to assume increasing levels of responsibilities and have a strong desire for professional continued self-improvement, a professional demeanor and well-spoken
