DescriptionAbout this role

BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A seeks Associate, Portfolio Engineering in San Francisco, CA to perform daily fund management tasks, including handling client contributions and redemptions, portfolio re-balancing, reviewing, approving, and submitting trade lists, ensuring that portfolios track within performance expectations, and performance attribution. Req’s: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: working within financial services industry and utilizing knowledge of quantitative methods, portfolio construction, and asset allocation theory to manage fund-of-fund portfolios; utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to keep track of workflows and to calculate complicated fund orders; utilizing programming languages including SQL and Python to enhance risk models for portfolios; utilizing SQL to query databases to monitor daily trades; and using Python to send automated results in Outlook daily.
