Job Description
The Business Hardware Implementation (BHI) Analyst is essential to the success of enterprise wide hardware deployments in the United States and Canada. Projects are typically focused on the delivery of new or enhanced hardware that improves efficiency and provides new capabilities. The BHI Analyst will oversee the implementation of IT-owned hardware and drive the execution of both IT and business sponsored projects using cross-functional project plans. Analysts will be responsible for creating and maintaining a deployment schedule based on business needs. The analysts will provide all necessary direction, coordination, and follow-up to ensure milestones and quality standards are met. This position is the focal point for all stakeholders impacted by the project for hardware being installed. On occasion this position will require extended work days, nights or weekends including some travel.
ROLE
- Creates and executes the deployment plan for IT-owned equipment and infrastructure at existing locations from inception to installation.
- Facilitates the overall coordination and oversees the day-to-day tasks required to ensure the project meets goals and deadlines.
- Assesses progress on projects and reports status on a continual basis to stakeholders.
- Manages and tracks project costs and resources allocation to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Maintains strong, productive working relationships with manufacturers and suppliers providing equipment and services for BHI projects.
REQUIRED
- Experience leading projects and managing project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Ability to manage supplier engagements, making sure all supplier owned tasks are completed to the satisfaction of Costco stakeholders.
- Possesses organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Ability to partner with business, suppliers, and other IT groups to perform proof of concept or pilot of solution in the operations environment.
- Experience managing RFP process with suppliers seeking to bid on project work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creation of Executive Summary and Project Status Reports.
- Scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including extended work days, nights, weekends, and travel as needed.
Recommended
- Proficient in the use of Google products, email, spreadsheets, documents, presentations.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow (CARTS+) including project management modules.
- Functional knowledge of Costco IT systems including understanding of hardware used by Costco to support our business.
- Proven ability to successfully balance workload on multiple high priority projects.
- Experience and willingness to teach/mentor others.
