Programs planning efforts of an organizations activities. Develops information on budget status, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities. Determines customer requirements and translates these requirements into organizational plans.
- Assist Program Manager is directing all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Assist Program Manager with cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs or subsystems of major programs.
- Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.
- Leads a cross-functional team of associates with a wide range of skill sets, ensuring roles and responsibilities of all team members are well understood and executed.
- Ensures program-wide focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules.
- Identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Manages subcontractor actions and performance.
- Controls expenditures within limitation of project budget.
- Develops and manages performance metrics on assigned programs to drive continuous improvement.
- Develops and delivers presentations to management, and other program stakeholders.
- Performs Risk and Opportunity Management.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree plus at least 3 years of experience or a Masters degree and at least 1 year of experience.
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a secret clearance.
