What You’ll Do

As a CISG (Cloud Infrastructure & Software Group) Product Sales Specialist selling to Americas Service Provider (ASP) you will develop and execute to an enterprise strategic plan that exceeds revenue targets. Your account charter includes computing platforms, application analytics and insights, and hybrid cloud technologies. You will develop well-organized ideas, plans, and business examples; clearly explain relevant facts; distinguish Cisco’s own offerings from competitors’; and present a well-prepared, business solution. You’ll develop and drive strategic sales activity and thought leadership around CISG – Cloud Infrastructure & Software Group solutions by also collaborating through cross-functional teams. Previous sales experience that required collaboratively working with an extended sales team to identify and close opportunities is a requirement.

Objectives and Responsibilities:

  • Increase rapid acceptance of converged, hyperconverged, and cloud computing technologies
  • Clarify customers’ mission critical application needs and partner with appropriate ISVs
  • Define and articulate a hybrid cloud journey for your customers
  • Assume a leadership role utilizing field experiences in developing next generation cloud architectures both Cisco-branded and with partners such as NetApp, NVIDIA, Microsoft, Google, etc.
  • Other expectations include: supporting and training Cisco account teams in effectively packaging, pricing, and presenting cloud solutions to customers, including return on investment and value proposition; assisting in developing and presenting RFI/P response; taking active roles in exploring partnership solutions; demonstrating ability to interact with senior level management CXO levels.

Who You Are

You have a BS/BA or equivalent and at least 5-7 years of experience selling servers, platforms, enterprise applications, server virtualization technology, network virtualization technology, and storage virtualization technology. You can excel within a team environment, you have strong sales and critical thinking skills, and you have an understanding of Cisco’s Cloud Infrastructure and Software portfolio.
