The Northrop Grumman Corporate Communications team is looking for savvy and strategic communications representative to help manage communications that support our Talent Acquisition (TA) and retention activities. Expand your career and put your strategic communications skills to use as you develop and deploy innovative communications practices to highlight our people and capabilities. In this job, you’ll:

  • Support all aspects of Communications for Talent Acquisition, including developing messaging, assessing channels and participating in the creative process
  • Coordinate day-to-day communications needs for TA, understand TA practices, build and manage relationships with key stakeholders
  • Partner with the TA Project Management Office to define goals and budget needs
  • Engage with ad agency and our Brand team and maintain brand strength and consistency
  • Help develop, deliver and measure dynamic communications strategies and campaigns that support our employees and our business (internal and external communications)
  • Integrate messages and methods in support of broader business priorities
  • Collect and analyze data, make recommendations to improve our approach and the results of future communications, events and activities
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships
  • Identify, create and coordinate requests for new and updated careers website content; maintain careers related websites
  • Support our social media presence; respond to TA-related social media queries
  • Demonstrate your ability to develop communications strategies, campaigns and messaging; create content, assess communications channels
  • Demonstrate your strong writing and editing skills
  • Demonstrate your ability to collect, analyze data and format into quality briefings
  • Demonstrate your ability to collaborate productively with teams

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of experience successfully developing and deploying communications practices or one (1) year of communications experience with Master-level degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with Associated Press Stylebook rules
  • Experience establishing and advancing an organization’s brand
  • Experience in strategic or digital communications, journalism, marketing, public relations
  • Experience with social media channels, audiences and practices

•Salary minimum: $61,360 •Salary maximum: $101,244 Total Rewards: Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
