Travel Reservation Agents:
Costco Travel is seeking outstanding individuals to join our world-class Issaquah, Washington-based Contact Center. Our Travel Reservation Agents assist Costco Members with their dream vacation packages.
We are hiring for our August 2021 : agents training classes.
You do not need experience in the travel industry. We will train you. The ideal candidate will have sales or customer service expertise and outstanding communication skills.

Position Summary:
Our reservation staff assist Costco members in the planning of their vacation travel, with a focus on first-call resolution in a fast-paced call center environment.
Job Duties/Essential Functions:

• Handles member calls in a friendly and efficient manner.

• Uses airline and in-house computer systems to make member reservations.

• Confirms reservations accurately.

• Communicates members’ needs to other support departments.

• Regular and reliable workplace attendance at your assigned location.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery:

• Computer, phone (headset), printer, copier

Non-Essential* Functions*:

• Assists in other areas of the department as necessary.

• Assists in other areas of the company as necessary.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery:

• Same as essential functions

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications:
Required:

• Effective listening and communication skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Typing speed minimum of 30 words per minute.

• Detail-oriented approach to work.

• Flexible to meet the schedule needs of the business (e.g., evening, weekends).

Recommended:

• Sales experience (preferably phone sales).

• Travel industry experience.

• Call center experience.

• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, growing work environment.

• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Internet Explorer.

• High school diploma or GED.
