Job Description

The purpose of this position is to direct the profitable operations in an assigned country including sales, service, rental, parts, and fleet/site services support. This position is directly or indirectly responsible for all members in the assigned geographic area.
  • Manage all assigned assets to meet maximum operating return on assets (OROA) and customer needs; responsibility for total profitability; ensure set goals are met or exceeded
  • Instill a strong customer focus culture; personally develop close relationships with major customers
  • Assist in marketing and sales strategies, proposal presentations, and project alignment sessions
  • Assist in the development of project execution plans and project staffing for site and fleet services
  • Ensure that proper procedures are followed in executing and charging for services, materials, tools, equipment, and ensures the timely collection of all past due accounts
  • Maintain and promote good member relations by consistently applying Human Resource, Safety, and Quality policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and thirteen (13) years* of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to seventeen (17) years* if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in business preferred
  • Thirteen (13) years experience in construction equipment industry
  • Eight (8) years experience in management, profit/loss
  • Experience with sales bids and presentations
  • Proficient computer and software skills to include the use of word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, and electronic presentation programs
  • Skilled in multi-function managing for multiple locations within a large region. Mathematical/budgeting aptitude
  • Creative problem solver
  • Extensive knowledge of equipment industry, competitors and trends
  • Must know all aspects of company’s business, business goals, and ability to serve its clients
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to effectively manage and motive members
