Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will contribute to collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial or operational information which could include trend analysis and identification of gaps and opportunities. Your efforts will enable the team to analyze or report on business performance, solve business questions, or inform business decisions.

The Financial Planning and Analysis – Senior Associate or Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Performing budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
  • Analyzing data to inform strategic business decisions
  • Preparing management and board reporting
  • Influencing business decisions and outcomes
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Minimum Required Experiences
  • For Associate Level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • For Senior Associate level: 1 – 2 years of related experience

  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • The group of skills related to Business Insight including advising, vetting business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
  • Experience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments to determine viability, stability, and performance
  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
  • The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • Experience forecasting, predicting, and monitoring financials with a focus on ratios, equities, and debts

Tools

  • Skilled in Excel
  • Skilled in Tableau
  • Experience in SQL a plus
