In the country’s key overlooked markets — manufactured housing, affordable housing preservation, and rural housing ― Fannie Mae’s innovative financing solutions are helping more and more families achieve the dream of a stable, affordable place to call home. As a valued colleague on our team, you will provide expert advice on planning and managing projects to track and support Fannie Mae’s Multifamily Duty to Serve objectives, which target those underserved markets. You will lead the effort to develop project plans, coordinate with subject matter experts, monitor and report progress against our Duty to Serve objectives, and work with internal teams to make adjustments as needed. You will play a critical role in both working with the business teams to develop and track their objectives and providing expert support and training on those objectives.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
Multifamily Duty to Serve Project Manager/The MF Customer Engagement – Project Management – Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

Consult on the development of goals, guidelines, action steps, and timelines for projects.
Develop systems and processes for tracking and reporting progress against the Duty to Serve objectives.
Assist business teams in developing and revising Duty to Serve objectives as needed.
Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure correct capturing and disclosure of loan data in systems
Work with data teams to enhance reporting and tracking capabilities.

Minimum Required Experiences

4 years

Desired Experiences

Bachelor degree or equivalent
Familiarity with multifamily housing finance; specific experience with affordable housing, manufactured housing, and/or rural housing preferred
Strong project management capabilities, including managing plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
Experience developing and delivering training to internal and external audiences
Data management experience
Passion for facilitating equitable and sustainable access to homeownership and quality affordable rental housing across America

Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions
Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
Skilled in documentation and database reporting for the purposes of analysis and decision-making with the use of relevant software
