This position can be based in any Fannie Mae location or remote
As a valued contributor to our team, you will advise team members on providing customer service and consultation to existing accounts. In this role, you will collaborate with your team to implement strategic solutions to meet our customer needs, as well as identify the risk of servicing back of business and optimizing policy/underwriting.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Portfolio Servicing – Advisor role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
  • Advise on risk of services and provide insight and analysis on existing customer accounts.
  • Provide customer service and expert advice on complex requests.
  • Identify and advise on opportunities to implement enterprise solutions and/or improve existing solutions.
  • Consult and proactively engage Business Accounts at executive level within the organization
  • Develop strategic Business Account solutions
  • Drive innovation for Business Account, team, and enterprise
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Required Experiences
  • 6 years relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of the mortgage industry and the role that the Government Sponsored Enterprises play
  • End-to-end servicing life cycle & oversight functions of Fannie Mae’s servicing Guide; policy, issues, and framework
  • Servicing risk management knowledge and experience of servicing counterparties (including support for mergers & acquisitions) of cross functional departments (Investor Reporting/Master Servicing, Fannie Mae Invoicing, Claims etc)
  • Extensive verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive skill in time management
  • Comfortable as a change agent and open to new ways to improve
  • Proactive in leading problem-solving efforts and leads with a positive attitude
  • Extensive skill in effectively collaborating within the team and across teams
  • Extensive relationship management capability
  • Extensive skill to analyze complex data and draw key insights and conclusion to address Business Account account plan

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Competency and consistent use of Salesforce, including (contact management, kanbans, problemsolving, events, etc.)
  • The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
