WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORThe s23NYC Product team is looking for a Product Manager to help build ambitious digital experiences in our s23NYC studio based in New York City. We’re seeking someone who is passionate about sneaker culture and has demonstrated talents building and improving digital experiences that change the way users interact with brands, as well as each other. This role will be accountable for the development of capabilities and experiences at the heart of Nike’s Direct to Consumer transformation and Consumer Direct Acceleration (CDA) strategy. Our Product Managers are detail oriented, data savvy, empathize with their customers and are strong communicators who work well across teams such as Experience Design, Global Technology and Engineering, Product Marketing, Brand Marketing and geography specific marketplace teams.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONThis unique opportunity will help inspire the future of high heat digital launch and community related features. You will help define and implement the product vision and strategy for the services powering these features, while leading the end-to-end lifecycle of a product and its underlying technical infrastructure. This Product Manager will help seek opportunities to take sneaker culture to the next level!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the end-to-end concept, design, development, and evangelization process for technical infrastructure that help define the future of sport as well as sneaker culture.
  • Using data to influence decisions, you will be a leader who effectively prioritizes resources appropriately to achieve business goals while delighting Nike’s customers.
  • Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to architect system designs and contextualize measures of success while defining mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive user requirements.
  • Iterate systems, and the journeys they enable, by analyzing user behaviors and leveraging a key performance indicator driven experimentation framework.
  • Effectively communicate upcoming release information with internal and external stakeholders, in addition to collaborating with key experience teams to drive consumer-centric go-to-market and adoption campaigns.
  • Live your customer’s reality using emotional intelligence as a key driver for consumer needs, championing new ideas to connect with our members and deconstructing the complex, competitive landscape of sneaker drops.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and keep the cross functional team passionate about near-term results in a constantly evolving environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, working as a product owner or working closely with one on Agile development teams developing global digital products and cloud services, preferably within the domain of digital commerce.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem solving proficiencies.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal/presentation with abilities to speak to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Sound organizational skills with proven experience meeting firm deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Ability to write product specifications and understand design concepts and principles.
  • Naturally collaborative and supportive.

Open to remote work, except cannot work in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be required to relocate. For employees based in Colorado, this position starts at $117,000 per year. Information about benefits can be found here.
