Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting concept generation, design, development, verification, validation and manufacturing transfer of new and novel soft tissue repair systems.
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of our product lines and detailed knowledge of various musculoskeletal pathologies.
  • Follow all applicable laws and policies and maintain the highest level of integrity, ethics, and compliance at all times.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team throughout the development of the soft tissue repair systems.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of B.S. in an engineering discipline and 0-2 years relevant experience.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse teams to drive innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong foundation in core engineering principles and knowledge and comfortability working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Must demonstrate strong work ethic, leadership and teamwork qualities.
  • Well organized, self-motivated, upbeat, creative and resourceful.
  • Outstanding ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems despite imperfect information and resource constraints
  • The ability to work within a cadaver lab and operating room setting

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of complex mechanisms and a variety of materials, such as titanium, stainless steel, nitinol, injection molded polymers, extruded polymers and textiles is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload with limited supervision.
  • Product Development experience within medical devices, specifically minimally invasive surgical devices
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and medical device design controls
  • Proficient with statistical analysis of complex datasets
  • Experience with Computer Aided Design programs (CREO CAD Platform Preferred).
  • Experience with finite element analysis and tolerance analysis.

This position is in Raynham, MA and may require up to 10% travel including international.
