The Retail Activations team sits within the Direct Sales team and directly supports our mission by helping our valued customers. This team receives 100% inbound customer calls from customers who purchased a Lively device at a retail location and need support activating their device. The Retail Activations team is supportive, fast-paced, and dynamic. ABOUT THE JOB
The Retail Activations Representative receives inbound customer calls for device activation, listens to and answers customer questions, and ensures that every customer has a positive experience with Best Buy Health. We use a consultative sales approach, ensuring that our team listens closely to make the best recommendation for products, plans, and value-added services that can sometimes even save a customer’s life. A successful team members will listen intently, understand customer needs, overcome objections, and be able to fully explain the benefits and value of our life-saving products and services. We’re looking for candidates who excel at problem solving, kind and direct communication, and are performance driven.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to high volume of inbound calls from retail customers, providing relevant and accurate information on products and services
  • Answer customer questions and provide appropriate solutions
  • Utilize the consultative, needs-based sales process to make recommendations to the customers
  • Present and sell new products and additional value added services
  • Maintain performance based on goals and objectives
  • Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED required
Experience:
  • Minimum 6 months of sales experience required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Computer skills including typing and prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to meet and/or exceed sales quotas

Schedule: Must be willing to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
Pay: Base pay plus commission. Annually, our agents average $47K per year and top performers have even higher earning potential.

This class will be based out of Best Buy Health’s Carlsbad, California location. The person who fills this role will must be within a commutable distance to the Carlsbad, CA office.
