Primary Purpose

The Retail In-Play Trader position requires a candidate who is motivated, experienced in wagering, and performs at the highest standard in the gambling industry. This position will be able to trade the vast In-Play sports wagering product within all BetMGM Sportsbooks across the USA.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports to the In-Play Supervisors and Senior Traders
• Ensure daily schedules and operations are adhered to as per management’s expectations
• Perform other job-related duties as requested
• Sets up daily sports trading markets and future bet types
• Continually monitor world-wide markets on events currently being traded for comparison and evaluation
• Make informed decisions pertaining to the trading of the live game data
• Continually monitors live trends and game situations with a view to ensuring the quality and accuracy of the generated data
• Trade In-Play events for BetMGM retail

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

PREFERRED:

• Comprehensive knowledge of American sports and associated rules.
• Passion for Sports data and statistics.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Basic understanding of sports betting.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Gaming Registration in applicable jurisdiction(s)
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; comfortable with Microsoft Office suite of software.
