Job Description
The Senior Repair Agent performs high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances by addressing all unit symptoms and making repairs as necessary. Their responsibilities include providing work direction and product repair training to a team of repair agents. They also manage the work-in-progress (WIP) units.

Key Responsibilities

Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to their needs.

Leads a team of repair agents, provides work direction, and leads repair training for a specific product category.

Diagnoses, orders, and installs product and parts for repair.

Contacts customers with quotes for repair and answers questions regarding cost, product installation, and operation.

Completes routine functionality and quality testing on all products.

Partners with Team Assistants and Repair Agents to manage work-in-process (WIP) repairs.

Able to stand and sit for long periods of time

Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment

Able to lift weight up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation

6 months of experience facilitating training on diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances
-
9 months of experience diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances
-
Consumer Electronics and/or Appliance Manufacture Repair Certification
-
Sealed System Certification applicable to appliances
-
6 months of experience using Best Buy’s Star and Smart Parts system or Parts Inventory System
