As an intern with Procurement you will learn about and become part of our team, with the opportunity to support and drive strategic work.

INTERN EXPERIENCE:

Procurement Interns will be placed within one of our Procurement focus areas: creating value, mitigating enterprise risk and purpose (which includes supplier diversity and sustainability). As a procurement intern, you will learn about Nike and Procurement through the lens of one of the above teams. You will partner with your manager, coworkers and stakeholders to deliver one or more projects that will drive value toward Nike’s strategic goals. At the end of your internship, you will have the opportunity to present your project results to the Procurement executive team.

Successful procurement interns will be considered for hire as an entry-level full-time employee the following year.

You do not need pervious procurement experience to work as an intern with our team: we will teach you. We look for candidates who are driven by curiosity to understand the world around them; the type of people who are comfortable working with people and data to search for, build, and articulate solutions to challenges.

• Graduating with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in December 2022 or May/June 2023

• 0-2 years’ work experience
• Previous experience and/or coursework focused on procurement, finance, analytics, operations, supply chain, or engineering
• Strong excel, math, and cost modeling skills
• Ability and/or desire to comb through large amounts of data, analyze, draw conclusions, and present a coherent viewpoint
• Evidence of entrepreneurial spirit, leadership positions, and ambition

• Project management abilities and/or aptitude
• Ability to deal with ambiguity, creative problem solver
• Passion for the Nike Inc. Brand
