Job Description
- Assist in the operation of a construction engineering department
- Work under the supervision of a construction engineer or survey party chief to perform various assignments of a construction engineering or field engineering support nature, both technical and clerical
- Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
- Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
- Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
- Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
- No previous education or years of work-related experience; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
Must be able to work independently and have ability to record utility monitoring points during construction
Preferred Qualifications
- Typically has (1) year of project experience
- Basic computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as basic knowledge of spreadsheets
- Good oral and written communication skills
